A new standard of luxury has been set on the Las Vegas Strip by Shoppes at The Palazzo, the recently opened retail centre owned by General Growth Properties.

“Home to an 85,000 square-foot Barneys New York and more than 60 premier luxury brands, The Shoppes at The Palazzo comprises one of the city’s most comprehensive retail offerings. The other ‘firsts’ include: Van Cleef&Arpels, Diane von Furstenberg, Chloè, Christian Louboutin, Catherine Malandrino, Anya Hindmarch, Lambertson Truex, Poleci, Charriol, Piaget, EDIDI New York, Canturi Jewels, Links of London, Double Helix Bar + Double Helix Boutique, Annie Creamcheese Designer Vintage, Bauman Rare Books, Canali, Mezlan, Guerlain, Piazza Sempione, The Kiss, Billionaire Italian Couture and Andrew’s Ties.  Read more

The nightclub, whose operator has yet to be named, will encompass 24,000 square feet. The restaurants will range from 8,000 square feet to 13,000 square feet.

MGM Mirage released some nice details of their shopping and dining retailers at their CityCenter’s “The Crytals” shopping and dining district.  The list reads like a who’s who of high-end retailers, and there is also a Las Vegas version of one of my favorite L.A. eateries, Katana.  Read more
