$5 billion Las Vegas Plaza mega resort postponed

Surprise, Surprise - Another delayed casino project on the Las Vegas Strip. According to Reuters, the Elad Group announced that it has postponed the development of its Las Vegas Plaza hotel casino until 2009 due to the credit markets and a soft US economy. Recall this is the company that bought the New Frontier casino for $35 million per acre and demolished it to make way for the Plaza construction.
