Australia’s hottest export, Thunder From Down Under, was named AOL’s Best Adult Attraction in Las Vegas for the 3rd year in a row. AOL nominated a short list and the public voted Thunder From Down Under the winner.

7th Annual Witches and Wizards Ball

Master of masks magician Jeff McBride hosts the 7th annual Witches and Wizards Ball at Wonderground, a magical, interactive club experience. Special guest magician Jon Randall, editor of the UK’s leading independent Pagan magazine, will lead a Houdini séance at the beginning of the evening. Randall has been studying Houdini for years and aims to recreate the final séance held by Houdini’s wife Bess in 1936.
WHAT:
The Witches and Wizards Ball will feature performances by several magicians and illusionists, DJ Leo Diaz spinning house, mash-ups and down-tempo techno music, dance and costume contests and a historical recreation of the final Houdini séance as it was performed in 1936, lead by magician Jon Randall. At midnight, Jeff McBride will host a special magic and mystery show.
This is the first year that this unique event is open to the public. Entrance is $10 at the door and costumes are encouraged. Sorry, there arent any strip clubs inside Las Vegas casinos, but I found an an interesting article about why this seemingly perfect marriage of adult entertainment doesnt exist in Las Vegas. Norm from the Las Vegas Review writes:
The biggest issue that’s keeping strip clubs out of local casinos, Langan said, is the lap dance. “They don’t mind topless,” he said. The concern is having resorts associated with the “perception of prostitution,” he said. Read more

I know what a lot of you are thinking, so I should clarify…they dont mix according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Heres the story…the famed Girls of Glitter Gulch strip club in Downtown Vegas wanted to add slot machines. So th gaming regulators dropped by a couple times undercover to check things out. Once inside, they were propositioned by girls who were willing to do a lot more than dance and were also asked if they wanted to buy drugs. Read more

Biggest strip club in Vegas sold

Rick’s Cabaret International, Inc. (NASDAQ: RICK), the nation’s premier operator of upscale gentlemen’s clubs, said today it has completed its purchase of the Scores-Las Vegas adult nightclub after renegotiating terms of the acquisition.
“We are thrilled to have completed this purchase with more favorable terms including $6 million less debt than would have been incurred under the earlier agreement,” said Eric Langan, President and CEO of Rick’s Cabaret. “The acquisition gives us the finest club in the most exciting entertainment market in the country. We will operate the facility under the Rick’s Cabaret brand, which is an important step in our national branding strategy. The deal is immediately accretive and we estimate it will add 20 to 25 cents in annualized earnings per share.” Read more
